FENN’s New Engineer
FENN, a leader in providing quality metal forming machinery, is pleased to appoint Matt DeLilla to the new role of Swager Sales/Application Engineer. FENN produces Swagers as a low-cost way to point, reduce and form rod, tube or wire. Swaging is a special type of forging in which metal is formed by a rapid succession of hammer blows, used for a variety of applications. Matt actively works on all of FENN’s product lines, but will now specialize in FENN’s Swager line. Matt also leads FENN’s Swager Rebuild and Upgrade Program for customers who are unable to consider new machinery options. The program enables customers to have older equipment refurbished into productive, reliable and safe equipment that is better positioned to meet quality and production goals. “Matt has become a very valuable addition to our sales team, and will help Swager customers realize the significance of rebuilding their machine through the OEM” shared Darcy Sordo, Director of Sales at FENN. “His education and skill level are adding strength and knowledge to our sales team, and we’re looking forward to seeing the value he can bring to our customer’s applications.” Matt is an alumni of Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
