FENN’s Open House

East Berlin, CT – Locally operated FENN LLC has announced they will be hosting an Open House on September 17, 2015 to celebrate its 115th year in business, and first year under the ownership of Quality Products, Incorporated (headquartered in Columbus, Ohio). FENN is a manufacturer of highly customized machinery, each designed to satisfy a specific metal forming application. Through innovative solutions and perseverance in a fierce global market, FENN remains one of the last few manufactures of its type still in operation across the globe today.

The celebratory day will begin with a ribbon cutting ceremony by East Berlin Mayor Rachel Rochette, and Deputy Mayor Bill Rasmussen at 9am. From 2-7pm, FENN will open its doors to its clients, vendors and industry friends. The Open House event will include machine demonstrations, technical discussions, and facility tours. Machinery on display will include a custom made rolling mill, a CNC spring coiler, swagers, a table top drawbench, and both pull through style and power driven turks heads. There will also be technical discussions on the precise art of wire flattening and shaping, and die making.

Food and beverages will be served, and raffle prizes targeted toward FENN clientele will occur every hour. Prizes will include gift certificates for machine operator training, machine maintenance and service, spare parts, as well as cash prizes.
